Care starts before the consultation. We want every patient — including those using assistive technology — to be able to read, navigate, and contact this practice without barriers.

Our commitment

Eric S. Ahn, MD Oculofacial is committed to making this website accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for effective digital communication.

Measures we take

  • Semantic structure — headings, landmarks, and labels that screen readers can navigate
  • Full keyboard operability, with visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link
  • Text and interface colors tested to meet WCAG AA contrast minimums
  • Reduced-motion support: animations are disabled when your device requests it, and moving content can be paused
  • Text that can be resized up to 200% without loss of content, and no zoom blocking
  • Content that remains readable even if JavaScript fails to load
  • Periodic automated and manual audits (most recently July 2026, using axe-core against WCAG 2.1 A/AA)

Known limitations

The website's content-editing area (used only by our staff) is provided by a third party and is not patient-facing. If we publish content that falls short — for example, an image missing a description — we will fix it as soon as we're aware of it.
